A Male White and Black Collie cross Spaniel who is age 2 years
Dovecotewell, by Glencaple
Dumfries and Galloway
Reference: 17/206 Approx Age: 2 years
Mylo is a timid boy who isn't confident in new situations or with strangers. With a gentle, patient approach he soon shows you his affectionate side. He has come from a home with children aged 3 and 5 years old, as well as another female dog who we are told he got on well with. Mylo has seen cats whilst on his walks but he has never lived with them. Recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilespy, he has started treatment and we hope to stabilise this condition. He is a handsome boy who's energetic on lead and is looking for an active owner. He likes his toys and is house trained.
Mylo has been handed in for rehoming as he started having a small cluster of fits and he was reactive whilst coming round for the fits, his owners were worried he may snap at the young children. He has been assessed by our vets and has started medication. It will take a few weeks monitoring/bloodtesting and adjusting to ensure he is on the lowest therapeutic level - for this reason initially we would prefer local enquiries so we can support the adopter through this stage.
Mylo is looking for an active owner. Mylo will be best suited in a calm environment without young children.
If you'd like to help rehome Mylo simply complete the Homefinder Questionnaire to get started.
