Rye at Dogs Trust - Glasgow

A Male Jack Russell Terrier (JRT) who is age 1 to 2 Years

Contact Shelter

Shelter Location: 315 Hamilton Road Uddingston Glasgow G71 7SL

Likes

Rye is a small guy with heaps of personality. He is looking for a home that have experience with terriers and are happy to continue training with him as he has missed out on most basics. We are looking for calm and confident people to guide him and help him with his self control.

Type of home needed

Rye is looking for a home with children over the age of 16 years old who can assist with his training. Rye would prefer to be the only dog in the house as he can get frustrated when meeting other dogs but he does share a kennel with another dog here, it may be possible depending on how they interact with each other at the centre. He cannot live with cats.

More about me

Rye would benefit from having someone around most of the day to help him with his training and gradually build up the time he is left alone. A quieter home with few visitors would be best to allow Rye time to settle and learn how to meet new people properly as he can get frustrated. He will need a garden with a secure 4.5ft fence.
