More about Opal
Opal is looking for an owner who have had nervous dogs before. She would like access to a garden, so she has her own space to enjoy and to be kept company for most of the day. Opal is looking to be the only pet but may be able to live with high school aged, dog savvy children.
Opal is the sweetest of girls who is very attention orientated with those she knows best. She can be a bit unsure if someone approaches her too quickly or tries to handle her too much and will shy away so she needs a patient owner who understand dog body language. Things will need to be taken at a pace she is comfortable with but once she learns that there is nothing to be afraid of, she is the biggest snuggle bug and will happily sit beside you for cuddles all day.
She may be a little older, but it does not stop her from running around with her favourite squeaky toy. Opal did arrive as a bit of a chunky girl and is still working on trimming her waistline so she will need a sensible owner who will gradually build up her fitness by taking her on many different adventures.

More about Summer
Summer is looking for an active owner who can work on her basic training and she would like access to a garden, so she has another space to burn off some energy. Summer may be able to live with high school aged children and possibly another young dog.
Summer is a fun, excitable, young girl who is friendly with everyone she meets. She is very playful and loves to run around our paddocks with a toy but does get over excited at times so needs help to understand how to keep all four paws on the ground. She does have worries about travelling, so needs an understanding owner who have the patience and time to help her overcome her nerves.
Summer does enjoy the company of other dogs, but she can be a bit too bouncy for some. She may be able to live with a dog of similar size who matches her energy pending a successful introduction. After a day of fun, she does enjoy her chill out time in a nice cosy bed.
Summer had some veterinary treatment when she arrived with us. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.

More about Scotia
Scotia has been extremely popular and has now been matched to several possible homes so we are no longer accepting interest for him.
Scotia is looking for an owner who have had high energy dogs, ideally huskies, before. Scotia is a happy boy who is always keen to say hello to who he meets. He is a typical husky who likes to sing the song of his people to let everyone know he is there so would be best suited to an owner who know and love the husky breed. He is full of energy and can become bored easily so he will need to be kept company for most of the day and would thrive with an active owner who are committed to taking him for long adventures. He is playful and loves to chase after his toys, particularly squeaky ones! Scotia will make a fantastic companion with the right family.

More about Ozzy
Ozzy is looking for an experienced terrier owner that have knowledge of reactivity. He would prefer to have a garden, so he has his own space to decompress as he can feel a little bit overwhelmed when out on walks. He needs to be an only pet in an adult only home.
Ozzy is a sweet boy who can be very affectionate and loving to those he knows well. He can come across as confident, but he does have a worried side to him so needs an understanding owner who can help build his confidence. Despite his age, he is full of life and enjoys keeping active or going for walks along to the beach where he can have a splash in the sea.
He can find being walked in busier areas a bit too much, which results in him being very vocal, so he will need an owner who is patient and willing to work on this with him and take him to quieter areas for his walks. Due to how overwhelmed he can be when out and about, he will require a garden of his own where he can enjoy enrichment activities such as sniffing out treats in a snuffle mat.
