Kos was found recently as a stray, his owner did not claim him and he has now come to us to help him find his new home. Very little is known about Kos so he will be further assessed before he is placed in any home.

Turns out this fella had very very sore ears when he came into the kennels which made him appear a bit on the grumpy side. These ears have now been treated and his true loving gentle laid back character has come out. He is a really sweet boy with a fantastic you could you resist this one!

This poor wee chap finds himself back with us sadly through no fault at all of his own. After spending far too long in emergency kennels Rocky was fostered and then adopted but his owner's circumstances have changed. So now this poor lad is yet again in the kennels.
Little Rocky hasn't put a paw wrong and will make someone a delightful companion. He does need to be the only dog and as he is anxious around children, needs a home where children would be aged 16 and over.

Rocky is approximately 8 years old and all he wants is a loving home and a special person to curl up with. He is house trained, walks nicely on lead, has good recall, travels well, is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is fine to be left for a few hours - his needs are very few and this wee boy doesn't deserve to find himself back in kennels. It would be so unfair.

Are you that special person who could help Rocky?

Due to a change in circumstances, Sally's owner has sadly had to bring her in.

Once Sally knows you, she is a very affectionate girl. However she needs time to gain your trust, as she is an anxious girl who is wary of new people. Sally has lived with two cats that she has been okay with, however she can chase them occasionally. She really has no recall, when it comes to being off the lead so she needs an owner who understands that she will just bolt if given the chance. Sally can also jump high fences, so she must be supervised when out. She has anxiety when left on her own, therefore she needs an owner who is at home the majority if the day and can help overcome her separation issues. Sally is in need of a home without young children. This collie X loves to play ball and enjoys her squeaky toys.

Re-homing Criteria

Sally is not the easiest of dogs. She has had a number of homes in her past and this lack of a stability when she was young has left her with anxieties. This girl really needs a patient understanding owner who knows that it will take time, and consistency to help her nervous nature.

Fergie is a neutered 2 year old Collie Cross

He is a loving boy once he knows you, but is wary of people he doesn’t know. Fergie would be best suited to an experienced adult home, with somebody to give him plenty of exercise. A home with no other pets or young children would suit him well. Fergie wants a home where he can continue his training and have a lot of cuddles

Mollie (Black & White) & Millie (Blue/Cream Torti) have found themselves at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue through no fault of their own and purely due to a change in circumstances of their owners meaning they could no longer care for them.

Although not siblings the girls have been together since they were kittens and we will be looking to house both girls together and we will not consider splitting them. Both girls are very very affectionate and loving girls and get so excited to see you when they know there are a few ear rubs and chin tickles available.

They are 2 of the sweetest little girls you could wish to meet and at only 5 years old they have a long life ahead of them. Both girls are very healthy and up to date on all their vaccinations and care and have been very much cherished in their former home.

They didn’t initially take very well to life at the rescue but after some TLC and the odd little bit of bribery they soon came round but even when they were unsure a few cheek rubs and they had you holding their wee heads in your hand as they just looked at you with those gorgeous big green eyes saying “love me”. We just adore these little girls.

The girls will make someone very very happy and will be true companion cats for anyone lucky enough to adopt them. The girls aren’t used to children so we would advise that family homes looking to apply should not have children under 8-9 years old and preferably children who are used to and comfortable around cats.

Mollie & Millie have always lived indoors and as such as we are seeking an indoor only home for them as we don’t feel that they would cope well with being outdoors.

We cannot urge you enough to come and meet these girls and we are sure that the first person to meet them will be smitten by their gorgeous looks and amazing, loving personalities.

If you think you can offer our beautiful girls the loving, tactile and safe home they deserve then please do send in a Sunny Harbour's adoption application form from our website
