1 years old (17 June 2024)
can be nervous when first meeting people but warms up with a few bits of chicken
He's microchipped
Needs to restart his vaccines
German shepherd cross Malinois
Not met cats
Not met kids
Dogs - Friendly with dogs on walks. Needs more socialisation with dogs in the home and off lead.
Needs to be neutered this will be done once a foster is found as it will be more peaceful for him to heal and have someone watch him.
Tucker was pulled from the pound by the rescue! He is in a bit off rough shape as his hair is thin and like straw, he's also a little lean.
He is just a loveable puppy there is not an aggressive bone in his body, he's just been through a lot and needing to gain his confidence back!
He has been working with the staff in the kennels who are mainly female and has got more confident with females now. He will need kind men in his life to help him gain confidence with them. He currently just shies away and looks to the people he trusts.
Tucker will need a fosterer that is experienced with nervous dogs who can provide him with training for the nervousness and healthy boundaries towards other dogs as he still doesn't have basic training.

Cuddly temperament with humans but high pray drive with other animals
No to any other animal in the home

Bertie
3 year old Mastiff Cross
Neutered -yes
Teenagers 16+
Cats and small furries - no
Dogs - Potentially could pending many successful meets
Bertie’s looking for a very special foster to adopt home who will continue the superb work his current foster family have been doing to build his confidence.
Bertie could do really well living in a rural or semi rural location but definitely cannot live in a very noisy and busy area due to his anxiety and nervous nature. Bertie is worried by new situations and takes time to build trust with new people. Due to this we are looking for a home where there is limited visitors and an adopter who is willing to visit Bertie multiple times to build a relationship before we look at moving him from his current fosters.
Bertie is a strong boy and must walk with a head collar and his loose lead walking is work in progress. He loves going to the freedom field for a run around and lots of sniffing with his brother who he has play dates with.
Berties fosters have been working alongside a behaviourist/trainer to help Bertie build his confidence around everyday situations including going for walks.
Bertie gets overwhelmed easily and so someone experienced with nervous dogs would be an advantage. Bertie is currently on medication for his anxiety and nervous nature and this will be discussed further with any suitable applicant.
Bertie loves his toys and chews and this can be great for helping distract Bertie in the home from passers by and outside noises. Bertie loves to bark at the window!
Bertie really is a loveable big lad who will flourish with the right home and guidance.

Can live with
Children
Bonnie is looking for an active owner who has had experience with German Shepherds and is familiar with some of the common behaviours they can have. She would like to have access to a private garden which will allow her to have her own safe space away from other dogs. She may be able to live with older, dog savvy children but would prefer to be the only pet in the home.
Bonnie is a super sweet, affectionate girl who loves everyone she meets and being made a fuss of. Like a typical Shepherd, she can be very vocal so would need an understanding owner who is willing to spend time with her working on her social skills. She is full of energy and loves playing with her toys in the paddocks but she can be anxious around other dogs so would benefit being with someone who is happy to take her hill walking or on long walks in quieter areas. Bonnie will need her coat regularly brushed to keep her coat tangle free. After a day out and about Bonnie would like nothing better to chill in a nice comfy bed or on a sofa.

Fantastic Fynn!
This handsome boy loves nothing more than a fuss! Fynn is full of life and has a real cheeky personlaity. He hasn't been with us long but we are all completely in love with him already. Fynn is a typical, daft, loving, playful lab who will make a fantastic pet.
He loves being out and about and seems happy around other dogs here at the centre. His previous owners said he was housetrained and got on well with two young children who visited. We are unsure how he would react to cats.
History
This handsome chap has been with the same home since he was 3 months old. He is now looking for a home that can meet his needs with both exercise and mental stimulation.
Re-homing Criteria
Fynn is looking for an active life. He loves the great outdoors so will need an owner who wants to join him on walks and adventures.
He is a friendly boy who likes meeting new people and could happily live with another dog if the match was right. We can't say for sure if he would be happy around cats.
Fynn does have his basic commands but his recall could do with a little work - due to this a home with a secure garden would be ideal.

Breed: Bear
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years
Key information: Shy boy at first, would be best as only pet in the house, can live with children 14 years and over.
Bear is a handsome boy who takes a little time to make friends, this is usually helped by offering him a biscuit or 2 and once he knows your safe he will be your best friend.
Bear enjoys going for walks and can meet other calm, well behaved dogs, however he has never lived with another dog before and does like all his human attention to himself.
Bear can be strong on his lead and still needs a little bit of training. He has a full thick coat that will need weekly maintenance in brushing and keeping it shiney.
Bear needs new owners who have had experience of owning large GSD’s before, someone who is happy to let Bear grow in confidence without making him feel overwhelmed. Like a lot of Shepherds, Bear will bark at people coming in the door and if he is worried by someone getting too close to him on his walks he may give a little woof but does settle down when reassured by his person.
Bear is very affectionate at home, he loves to cuddle, play with his favorite toys and practice his tricks as this means food is coming – and he is a massive foodie!
Bear is a big softie at heart and needs gentle owners who can understand his needs and go at his pace.
if you think you could offer Bear a home, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Sweet little Cookie!
Little Cookie is just such a sweetheart ! She adores a cuddle, and most days prefers being carried than actually having to walk ! Though when she is out and about she just loves it! She enjoys the company of other dogs and has lived with cats before. Cookie travels well in the car and loves a good pamper session.
We will not be rehoming Cookie to a home with young children or boisterous dogs owing to her health condition. More details of this can be found below.
History

Re-homing Criteria
We are looking for a special owner for Cookie, who will go the extra mile to give this little girl the best life. She has been very ill with an auto immune disorder. Her new owner should have experience to manage her medication and be committed to keep in contact with the vet.

A very lovable chap who loves a fuss.
Ernie is a real sweetheart! He is a happy, friendly guy who is great fun to be around. He enjoys the company of other dogs and as found a best friend here at the centre who he shares his space with (Santino the Lurcher).
Ernie loves being out and about and really enjoys company. He is looking for love, cuddles, adventures and a place to call his own. Due to his typical breed traits we are looking for a home without cats/ small furry animals around. This handsome lad would LOVE a canine friend to share his life with so another dog in the home is a must - however they would need to match his playful energy!
History
Ernie came to us as an unclaimed stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Ernie is a fantastic young lad who has such a lust for life! He is at his happiest while he is enjoying his zoomies in our paddock. His new home will need to have a fully secure garden so he has somewhere to carry on this favourite pastime of his! Ernie was a stray so we sadly do not have any background on how he would be with young children or cats , so we would be looking for a home without either of these. Ernie loves company - he would be looking for a family with someone around most of the time and an already established dog as he thrives with his canine friends here.
If you have space for a super fun loving dog in your life, Ernie could be your one!
