Dogs Trust - Glasgow
A Male Greyhound who is age 2 to 5 Years
315 Hamilton Road
Barkley is a strikingly handsome boy. He walks like a dream on a lead and enjoy's spending time with his loved ones. Barkley takes a while to trust new people and is generally an independent dog but he does enjoy attention once he has a bond with you.
Type of home needed
Barkley is looking for a nice quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace. He does need to be the only pet in his new home but he will walk nicely with other dogs, and plays with his lady friends. He can be wary of new people, particularly men, and will need to meet prospective owners a few times to build a relationship before going home. Barkley needs a adult only home with people over the age of 18 years old as he needs space when he has treats.
More about me
Barkley prefers to have someone around for most of the day. Once he is settled this may be built up gradually. He will need to be kept on a lead and muzzled due to his breed having a high prey drive. A secure garden with a 6ft fence is a must as he can be reactive when he sees new dogs.
