Skye needs time to get to know people. She finds new people overwhelming and is looking for an owner who understands this. She is very energetic and loves to play ball. A tennis ball is the way to her heart and this helps take her mind of any anxiety she has about new people. Skye loves her walks and playing in the paddock. Skye can be reactive to some new dogs she meets. We are told she was fine with cats and okay to be left for a few hours on her own after she has had plenty of exercise. Skye is crate trained and house trained.
Skye's owner passed away and the person who took her on, had another dog already and found it was too much for them to have both dogs.
We are looking for an owner who is patient and gentle when it comes to owning a dog. Skye needs a quiet home, with an active owner. She has not been used to children and due to her nervous behaviour, needs a home where she won't meet children.
