Champers is a timid soul who takes a while to know you. She is not keen on loud noises or the cold. Champers can be a little hand shy at first and needs a soft approach. She enjoys her walks and walks well on lead. She doesn't appear phased by other dogs but we do not know if she has shared her space with them before. Champers is a quiet girl in kennels. She can display some food guarding behaviour, so we feel she would not be comfortable with young children. Champers will make a fab companion and is looking for a quiet home and a cosy chair to snuggle up on.
Champers was brought into us after she was handed into the Police station on Bonfire night. She is not chipped and was not wearing an ID tag on her collar. We do not have a date of birth for her, but we feel she is about 7 or 8 years old.
Champers needs an adult only home due to her nervous nature. We have no information on what she has been used to previously.
If you'd like to help rehome Champers simply complete the Homefinder Questionnaire to get started.
