A Female Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is age 4 yrs
Katie is dreaming of a Furever Christmas....
Beautiful Katie has been in foster with her wonderful foster mum for several months.
Working together on Katie's significant confidence issues, Katie and her foster mum have made progress, but it's clear we need someone REALLY special for Katie's forever fairytale........could it be you?
Katie loves a cuddle - she is super people focused and all she actually wants is to be with you, and chill at your side.
Katie is a very nervous girl. She's afraid of her own shadow - she will quite literally jump if a vicious leaf blows past!
Katie wasn't socialised properly as a pup. She is terrified of other dogs, and there will be no quick fix for this, so we are looking for an owner who can understand this, and can help Katie avoid other dogs.
Given Katie find walks pretty overwhelming, Katie's ideal home would be somewhere quiet, with a large garden where her new mum and/or dad could play with her safely, and help her feel secure.
As a result of Katie's anxiety, she suffers from separation anxiety, and can be guilty of toileting in the house too - all hallmarks of a very stressful existence. The best result for Katie would be to gain a quiet home where she can learn to trust and settle. Truthfully this will be a long process.
We know we are asking a lot for Katie, she just can't cope in a normal everyday setting, but if you think you have what it takes to *really* rescue this beautiful wee soul, please get in touch.
Katie cannot live with cats, small furries, or other dogs. We would recommend she not live with any children under the age of 8.
Seriously - look at her little face - all our dogs need a chance, and Katie's is long overdue.
