West Scotland Retired Greyhound Trust
A Male Greyhound who is age 2 years
Various locations in and around Glasgow
We are on the look out for a very special home for this boy. Shiloh has been a long time resident with us who has severe trust issues around humans. At the beginning this boy would not come near any human what so ever. We have been working with him at the kennel and we are at a stage where he will now go for a walk on a lead. He is still wary and jumpy but believe us that is a million miles from where he was at. As we said it will be a very special home required for him. Below is a must have list for his special home. (Sorry if this sounds picky but we need to be sure that he will be as comfortable as possible)
He must be an only dog.
He needs a quiet house that has a set routine
No children as he would be too stressed
A fully enclosed garden fully fenced (he is happy to run out of his kennel and into a paddock do what he had to and then run back Into his kennel) he sees his kennel as a safe space for him.
If you feel that you can offer Shiloh this either as his forever home or as a long term foster please get in touch to try and get this boy into a home environment. As a long term foster we are happy to look into the possibility of a pet behaviourist to work with him but we feel that this would only benefit him in a home environment rather than a kennel environment. Fingers crossed someone can help this boy enjoy life.
