A Female Brown Spaniel who is age 7 years
Dovecotewell, by Glencaple
Dumfries and Galloway
Approx Age: 7 years
Abbey is a gentle girl who loves cuddles but can be a little shy until she gets to know you. She came into the kennels with another dog and was happy to share her space with him, she seems friendly towards other dogs here at the kennels too but has no experience with cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. Abbey has come from a very rural home so is a little under socialised, she has no experience with children, busy places or traffic. In her previous home she was a kennel dog so will need help with basic house training. She pulls on the lead when walking but has good recall. She has shown no interest in livestock, copes well at the vets and is friendly with all strangers she meets.
Abbey has come from a rural home where she has retired from breeding.
Abbey is looking for a home where she can get all the attention and love she deserves. She will need an active home with an owner who understands she will need help with basic house-training and socialising.
If you'd like to help rehome Abbey simply complete the Homefinder Questionnaire to get started.
