Shelter Location: Dovecotewell, by Glencaple Dumfries Dumfries and Galloway DG1 4RH

Reference: 19.154
Approx Age: 2 years

Description

AJ is a happy little chappie. At the centre he is a bit squeaky and likes to hum a little tune but he doesn’t do it all the time, just when he is excited. He has nibbled at his blankets during his stay here but done too much damage. We have separated the 3 dogs and feel they will be better going to a new home each. AJ has lived with children and he is very playful with them, he is good with other dogs and very friendly with everyone he meets. AJ has no experience with cats. He pulls on the lead but is better on a harness and he is house trained.

History

AJ came into the centre with his mum and dad, they were chewing things and barking when left. The owners felt they needed a home where they won’t be left on their own too much.

Re-homing Criteria

AJ would benefit from having dog company, his recall is ok if he has another dog to follow their lead. He does need a home where he won’t be left on his own for long periods of time, we would recommend crate training him.

Homefinder Questionnaire

If you'd like to help rehome AJ simply complete the Homefinder Questionnaire to get started.
