Dogs Trust - Glasgow
A Male Siberian Husky who is age 8 and over
315 Hamilton Road
Jonny is a loveable lad who has found himself back with us after a change in his owners circumstances and through no fault of his own. He is a very sweet boy but can be a little worried around men so will need an understanding owner who can work on this using positive reward based training.
Type of home needed
Jonny will need an active home with a family who will take him on lots of long walks as he loves the outdoors. He will need his own secure garden with a 6ft fence where he can work on his training and burn off some energy. He will need to be kept on lead when in public places as he can be selective about coming back. It would be best for Jonny to have someone around for most of the day, he can get bored if left for more than a couple of hours. He is housetrained but enjoys getting out regularly to stretch his legs and keep busy.
More about me
Jonny is looking to be the only pet in the home. He can get frustrated when he meets new dogs so walking in quiet dog free areas would be best for now and his owners should continue to work on his socialisation around other dogs. Due to current restrictions we are looking for a home within 30 minutes drive of the rehoming centre. This fun loving and comical boy will make a great addition in his new home. To apply to adopt Jonny please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.
