Leibe, pronounced Leebay, is a gentle girl who is in need of an understanding owner who will take things slowly with her and help build her confidence. She may be shy at first but when she has a bond with you she really comes out of her shell and is full of fun and a little bit of cheek. She is in her element when she is with other dogs and would benefit from living with a similar sized canine companion but cannot live with cats.

Type of home needed

Leibe came to us with little background information as she was found as a stray. Her new owners should have previous experience of owning a dog and be committed to continuing any training required. She would prefer a quieter home environment with children no younger than 16 years old. It would be best for her to have someone around for most of the day to help her settle but she could be left for a few hours once this has been built up. Given the chance to settle and build trust in her new owner she will be a great companion. She will be looking for a hands off home as she feels more comfortable having her own space.

More about me

Leibe would love to have direct access to her own secure garden, it should have a 6ft fence to keep her safe. She will need to be kept on lead and muzzled in public places so having her own garden will give her somewhere to have a little freedom. Due to restrictions we are looking for a home within 30 minutes drive from our rehoming centre. To apply to adopt Liebe please click on the 'come and meet me' button. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue
\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tour vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like
\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
