Lily is a super sweet older lady who is only with us as her owner had to go into care. She is a worried little dog initially who needs a hands off owner who can give her some time and space to grow in confidence. Having previous experience with terriers would be best but any dog experience would be considered.

Type of home needed

As she is looking for a quieter home it would be best that any children living in or visiting the home are over the age of 16 years old. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home and may need some further socialisation around other dogs. She can be avoidant of other dogs so she will need to be kept on lead when in public to ensure that she is kept safe if worried. She will need direct access to her own garden with 4ft fence to give her somewhere to potter around.

More about me

It would be best for Lily to have someone around for most of the day to help her adjust to her new home but once settled she could be left for 3 to 4 hours and is housetrained. Lily will make a wonderful addition in her new home as once you have a bond with her you have a friend for life! To apply to adopt Lily please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.
