A Female Black and White Border Collie who is age 2 years 1 month
Dovecotewell, by Glencaple
Dumfries and Galloway
Approx Age: 2 years, 1 month
Suzie has lived on the farm with other dogs who she is generally fine with. However she has been known to tell other dogs off when they come near her food, so care must be taken if she was to live with another dog again. As well as ignoring the sheep on the farm, Suzie wasn’t bothered by the farm cats either. She has met the neighbour's children and was okay with them for the brief time she met them. She has never lived with children thought and give her nervous nature, she may not be suited to sharing with children. Suzie is not used to being on lead so she can be quite flighty. This gorgeous collie is energetic and likes to be kept busy. She has only been in the farm pickup a couple of times and we are told she was fine. Suzie has not lived indoors so may take some time to adjust to a house environment. She is affectionate once she gains your trust.
Suzie was born on the farm in hope that she would become a working dog. However she doesn’t have any interest in sheep and is having a change of career.
Suzie is looking for a rural home, with collie experienced owners. She is nervous of new people and situations so her owner will need to give her the time she needs to adjust to home life.
