Rabbit Downey Jr is a beautiful big boy who has been coming out if his shell more and more since coming into the rescue. He is happy to be brushed and clapped (even by the kids). He also comes up to us all on his own accord to have a sniff and get a treat. He is a little jumpy when being picked up but once he is secure in your arms or on your lap he soon settles down. He is a big ball of fluff and would suit a family who will spend time getting to know him and his personality. He likes his morning routine and knows when it's feeding and tries to jump out the hutch and push past me when I'm topping up his food and water. He will certainly make someone very happy and he would love another bunny friend to bond with for when his human friends are not around.

He loves to have toys to play with like cardboard tubes and tunnels. Winston is inquisitive and sociable. He lives outdoors in a shed environment and is getting used to the resident dogs and cats that share the garden. He's had toddlers come into the shed and will check them out and take treats.

Entry Reason: OWNER FINANCIAL: CHANGE IN PERSONAL FINANCES

Since coming to live with their foster carer shy FBI (Feral Bunny Investigators) agents Mulder and Scully have transformed into outgoing, confident bunnies.

Like all good FBI agents, Mulder and Scully love nothing more than a good investigation. They prefer going “on location” (aka, the back garden) to conduct their investigations and get very excited every time their favourite foster carer comes to greet them at their hutch/office door and gives them a new mission. They’re very cautious around new people and when entering new spaces to investigate and will snuggle next to each other so that they’ve got each others back but once they’ve given it the all clear as a safe place to binky and chill their playful wee characters comes bursting out.

They prefer to communicate with their human co-workers though various codes as human words are just so fiddly and difficult to understand. A rustle of the treat bag is code that a new mission of the tasty variety is about to start. Once they hear the code they come bounding over, ready for action. One of their favourite missions is trying to figure out how to get nuggets out of a toilet roll tube or forage bag. They love nothing more than a good challenge and are at their happiest when they have to get their thinking caps on. Puzzles, toys, and problem solving tasks are always very welcomed missions for these two intelligent bunnies.

However, what Mulder and Scully make up in smarts, they definitely lack in athletic prowess. Un-coordinated, clumsy, clambering over each other, and often falling out of their litter tray, these two definitely got picked last at dodgeball back in FBI school.

In their down time they enjoy relaxing with wee nap down a tunnel or re-arranging their office and putting their favourite toy “the cat ball with strange bell sound inside” back in their bed. Why the human keeps hiding it around the office they’ll never know. It belongs in the bed, so that’s where it should stay!! They’re not destructive at all but sometimes these investigations can create quite a mess but they’ve assure us that it’s a tidy mess and they definitely always know where the cat ball is at all times.

Mulder and Scully have a very close bond. They love being together and are always snuggling and keeping each other within ear’s reach. When not investigating or a mission they’re very chilled out bunnies and love to snooze all day and keep each other company. They are most active first thing in the morning and in the evenings so they’re great for those who have to work during the day.

Mulder and Scully are for the most part litter trained but occasionally they like to leave little “presents” in non-designated spots round their hutch. They absolutely love dinner time and will scoff their pellets and play tug of war with their veggies. They love broccoli and kale and most green veggies except cucumber. They absolutely hate cucumbers!

Mulder is a medium sized rabbit with beautiful, thick and fluff fawn coloured fur. Although he is more timid than Scully, he is definitely the cheekier and more mischievous one of the two and loves doing things like stealing treats out of Scully’s mouth…. except for grapes. He hates grapes! Although Scully is more confident, Mulder likes to be the boss and take charge in situations but he is a big softy at heart and when he’s not bossing Scully or trying to steal her veggies he’s snuggling into her ear fluff and dozing off in a state of happy bliss. Mulder usually isn’t easy to pick up and will usually try to escape but unlike Scully he will start to settle down and cuddle into you once he’s being held. Mulder is in excellent health but he does have a prolapse. His vet said that this should be left as it is as it doesn’t affect him at all but just to keep an eye on it and make sure his hutch is kept clean and dry just to make sure no problems occur.

Mulder and Scully would be best suited to a quiet household with adults or teenagers and where they would have lots of space to play and investigate. They get along well with cats and dogs but would probably not cope with any boisterous young dogs or overly playful cats…… or people who keep an excessive amount of cucumbers.

Lennon is bonded with his sister Yoko, they have only been with me a short time so I am still learning about their individual personalities. Both bunnies are bold and inquisitive, they are there to greet me at the door when I visit. They are still getting used to their new environment so like to have somewhere to hide when they're feeling unsure but it doesn't take long for them to come back out. They both enjoy being petted and will sit on your knee for a short period of time. They are eating burgess pellets and plenty of hay, and prefer to drink out of a water bowl rather than a bottle.

Hemlock is a very loveable character. He is gentle and loves to be petted; particularly nose rubs. He enjoys exploring in the garden, but when it comes to returning to his hutch he may give you the run around and get those last few laps in before bedtime. He has his timid moments, but is very quick to trust considering his very short stay in foster care. Abrupt, excited noises such as children can sometimes startle him, but he is very gentle and will lap up the attention from calm individuals. Hemlock is looking for a reasonably quiet household, or somewhere where he can slowly be introduced to noises he may not be used to along with a companion to snuggle in to when you are not there.

Grace is such a sweet natured rabbit. Shes very large and doesnt like to be lifted, but will quite happily lie for ages while you pet her. She is nosy and will come up to greet you, but if you are too noisy she will retreat as she is a gentle soul. Although she does get used to the kids voices and will ignore them especially if they are telling her to get back in the bunny shed. The garden is her favourite place but she loves your company while shes out and exploring. She has finished nursing her son Will and is still a very attentive mum, but likes some time away from his cheeky antics and loves any attention you give her. She is a lovely pet, who is just about litter trained.

This wee girl is just the sweetest bunny! Always inquisitive and happy to see you. She is a proper Mummy’s girl and likes to keep close to Claire, they are often snuggled together on a blanket. She is a great hay eater and is already good at toileting in the right place. Although she is the smallest sibling she keeps up with the boys eating and enjoys Burgess nuggets, but her favourite is a natural forage box and as she is only little, she sits right in it to make sure she gets her share before Mama Claire tips it over. Haley does venture into the garden and enjoys running through the tunnels and climbing into the shelter to explore. Easy to handle and used to lots of interaction this wee one and her Mama will make a lovely pair once they are ready for their forever home.
