More about Benny
Benny is looking for an experienced owner who have had larger bull breed dogs in the past, so can fully understand the bully personality. He would like access to a garden so he can work on his basic training and to be kept company for most of the day whilst he settles in. Benny will need to be the only pet but may be able to live with dog savvy older teenagers who won’t be worried by his boisterous nature.
Benny can be a bit unsure of new people to start with but is the sweetest, happiest of boys who is very loving and likes to cuddle up for a snooze beside you. He is a bundle of fun who is playful and loves his squeaky toys or a game of tug, although his exuberance means he becomes a bit of a bull in a China shop at times! He will require an experienced owner who understand bully breeds and how boisterous they can be though he is very eager to please.
Benny hasn’t had the easiest time and can become overstimulated in some situations so needs an understanding owner who have the patience and time to help him adjust to his new surroundings. He does thoroughly enjoy his enrichment sessions though which will help during the moments he feels overwhelmed. He enjoys his walks to the beach and is happy to walk alongside other dogs although he much prefers doing his own thing.
Benny does have arthritis in his elbow which is being managed by pain medication, and he will have to remain on this for the rest of his life. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.

Teddy is a loyal boy to his favourite people who can be extremely affectionate and loving once he knows you . He can lack in confidence when it comes to saying hello to new people but he is very eager to please, particularly when you have a tasty bit of cheese or hot dog on offer. He is full of energy and loves running around chasing after his toys or getting zoomies when he goes to the beach so he will thrive with an active owner.
Teddy does get on with other dogs, but he doesn’t always realise when he is being too much for them. If he was to live with another dog, it will need to be one that will help show him the ropes of being a more polite, sociable boy.

More about Ozzy
Ozzy is looking for an experienced terrier owner that have knowledge of reactivity. He would prefer to have a garden, so he has his own space to decompress as he can feel a little bit overwhelmed when out on walks. He needs to be an only pet in an adult only home.
Ozzy is a sweet boy who can be very affectionate and loving to those he knows well. He can come across as confident, but he does have a worried side to him so needs an understanding owner who can help build his confidence. Despite his age, he is full of life and enjoys keeping active or going for walks along to the beach where he can have a splash in the sea.
He can find being walked in busier areas a bit too much, which results in him being very vocal, so he will need an owner who is patient and willing to work on this with him and take him to quieter areas for his walks. Due to how overwhelmed he can be when out and about, he will require a garden of his own where he can enjoy enrichment activities such as sniffing out treats in a snuffle mat.

More about Alan
Alan is looking for a home away from the city centre with an active owner who has had experience with collies. He could potentially live with older teens but would need to be the only pet in a home with access to a private garden.
Alan is a young and excitable boy who loves activities that keep his mind busy. He has bags of energy and will need plenty of exercise, and extra activities to keep him happy and stimulated. He is, however, a typical collie with all the typical collie traits and can become overwhelmed in busy areas where there is a lot of traffic so is best suited to an owner who know and love the breed. He enjoys human company and can get anxious when left so will need an understanding owner who can spend time with him.
Alan can have doggy friends out and about but has shown that he doesn’t like to share his things with them in the home so will only be suited as the only pet. He is a super boy and would make a great companion and a fantastic addition for an active family.

More about Niall
Niall is looking for an experienced owner who have had large dogs before and can work on his confidence. He will need to be kept company all day and would like his own private garden, so he has a space to call his own to stretch out his big legs. He is looking to be the only pet in an adult only home.
Niall is a real sweet boy who, although can be unsure of people he doesn’t know, is easily won over by a tasty biscuit or two. He is generally confident with most scenarios, but new people are a bit scary for him, so he does require an understanding owner who will take things gradually with him and slowly work on his confidence. He can find it difficult being left on his own so his new owner will need to keep him company and help him learn it’s okay to spend time alone.
Once he does know you, he is super affectionate and will happily make himself a lap dog despite his size! He is full of energy and loves to run around chasing after his toys in the paddocks and he may enjoy hill walking. With the right introductions, Niall does make doggy friends who match his energy but he will need to continue working on his social skills around new dogs.
