About Joey
Joey is a much loved member of his family but due to not being safe near cats he has to find a new home. He is a very alert, whippet x . Possibly no more than 4½ years old. He is a very loving and cuddly boy who loves his toys and good snuffly walks in long grass. He has been with his family for 3 year now . He came as a stray in the south of England. He is a very much loved boy . He can be reactive to other dogs when out and about is always on a lead and with basket muzzel on. Despite this , he still managed to make some good doggie pals, one of which is a chihuahua. Sadly, due to illness & change in circumstances, his family find themselves in a position where they feel they need to find him a new home. They feel he would be best placed with someone who can give him the time he deserves. He is a very loved family pet who has lived with another sighthound . He is crate trained & can be left on his own for up to 4hrs. He travels well in the car in his crate and has been superb on long journeys. He does likes the window open when travelling. He enjoys treats & will sit & gives a paw and takes treats gentle. He also enjoys an ice cream & absolutely loves cheese too ! He is a dog who likes to lean on you so maybe best suited for a family with older kids or a single person. He will make the right person a wonderful companion. He gets regular visits to the groomers for toe clipping .He is neutered.He is chipped. He has pink scaring on his nose from having had mange when he was a stray.
