As Max has just arrived we will not be inviting anyone to meet him for at least 1 week. If you would like to apply for Max, please email info@borderspetrescue.org for an application form

Max is a handsome 17month old collie who came in to us as a failed sheepdog. Being a farm dog, he has not had much experience of life off the farm so is quite a nervous boy. He is friendly and will come around but anyone interested must have the time and patience to help him build in confidence in new situations.

Max will be looking for an active home without young children. He has shared a kennel with dogs before so could potentially live with another dog.

As Max has just arrived, we are still assessing him so will update his profile when he has settled in

Thelma & Louise Thelma & Louise

Thelma & Louise at Borders Pet Rescue

A Female white Domestic short hair who is age 6 to 12 months

Contact Shelter Adoption Form

Shelter Location: Craigsford Earlston Scottish Borders TD4 6DJ

Please note: initial viewings are by appointment only. Thanks

Thelma (tortie/white) & Louise (tabby/white) came in to us as feral kittens from a farm. They came in to us a bit later than we would like in order to get them used to humans so all of the others from the litter have been rehomed as farm cats, but this pair do seem a bit more friendly so may prefer to be pets, however they are still very nervous so would be best suited to an experienced owner. Anyone interested must fully consider if they are able to cope with semi-feral kittens.

Unfortunately the poor things came in to us with a virus and while they have recovered from i, they may still be carriers so can’t be rehomed with other cats.
