Dogs Trust - Glasgow
A Male Lurcher who is age 2 to 5 Years
315 Hamilton Road
Tigger is a lively boy who hasn't had the best start in life. He has found himself in numerous homes so needs a committed owner where he can continue his training to learn the life skills he may have missed out on as a puppy. An active owner would be great for him as he is young and has plenty of energy.
Type of home needed
Tigger is looking for a home with someone around for most of the day as he doesn't like being left on his own. This is something that should be built up over time once he is settled. He is looking to be the only pet in the home while he works on his social skills. It would be best for him to live with a family that have owned dogs before and can continue training with reward based methods. He will need to be kept on lead when in public so having direct access to his own garden to enjoy some freedom to run around and play. His garden should have a 6ft fence.
More about me
This enthusiastic guy can be over the top and mouthy at times so we will need his new owners to encourage calm behaviours. For this reason he would be best with children over the age of 16 years old. Tigger is a favourite with staff and we can't wait to see him land on his paws in a forever home. To apply to adopt Tigger please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below.
