Can live with
Children
Dylan is looking for an active owner who have had high energy dogs before and can keep him company for most of the day whilst he settles in. He would like easy access to a garden where he can burn off some of his energy. Dylan might be able to live with high school aged children but would like to be the only pet.
Dylan is a confident, happy go lucky boy who is very friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets. He does become over excited very easily and does lack in manners at times so would like an owner who are prepared to work on his basic training but, as he likes a tasty treat and is eager to please, this will help motivate him. He is a classic busy spaniel who is full of energy and likes chasing after a squeaky ball so he will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy. He will be best suited to an active owner who would be interested in doing an activity with him such as hill walking or scent work.
Dylan can become overwhelmed if dogs get in his space and he hasn’t shown much interest in wanting to interact with them. He may not mind having doggy friends that won’t bother him whilst out on walks but he would like to be the only pet within his home.
There is surely never to be a dull moment having Dylan in your life, but he will require patience and commitment to help him reach his full potential of making a wonderful family pet.
