Home Requirements
An experienced owner
A home with garden

Rocky is looking for a special home with an experienced owner who have had nervous dogs before. He will require his own private garden so he has a space to call his own where he can enjoy the outdoors safely. Rocky will need to be the only pet in an adult only home.
Rocky is a special boy who can find it difficult trusting new people and will need to meet his new family several times first before he feels ready to go home. He is a boy who knows what he does and doesn’t like so requires a very understanding, patient owner who will not overwhelm him and will manage his interactions carefully. He can become worried by being handled too much and does show when he feels uncomfortable so his new owner will need to have a good understanding of dog body language in order to help Rocky make good choices. For this reason, he cannot be placed in a home where there are children, including visiting children.
Once Rocky has built a good relationship with you, he does show his incredibly sweet, affectionate side and is partial to a good tummy tickle. He enjoys his walks to the woodland where he can sniff out all of the interesting smells or zooming around our paddocks as fast as he can. He will make a loving, loyal companion for the right owner who can accept him for who he is.
Rocky has had some veterinary treatment during his stay with us. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
