Meet Frank – A Big, Bouncy Boy Ready for His Forever Home!
Location: Ayr
Date of Birth: 10th December 2024
Frank is one Freya’s gorgeous pups and is still looking for a home – and he’s an absolute little treasure. One of a litter of 7, Frank and his siblings were separated from her mum early on, as our rescuers initially couldn’t catch Freya. (Mum is safe now too!) Despite a tough start, Frank has grown into a confident, affectionate, and curious young pup with so much potential. He’s super friendly and cuddly and has a lovely nature just like the rest of the litter.
Franks Highlights:
• Confident, sweet, and eager to learn
• Friendly with people and other dogs
• Can live with sensible, dog-savvy children
• Will need continued house training and lead work
• Would thrive with a secure garden to play and practice his skills
The sisters (that are already adopted) are doing brilliantly – and we know Frank will too! Frank is a lovely not so little lad with a bright future ahead – He just needs a home where he will be loved, supported, and given the chance to shine. Please bare in mind Frank is going to be a larger sized dog as he is already over 20 kilos at just 6 months old, but he is a really gentle boy and will make just the best pal for someone. Meet Kobi – A Gentle Giant in the Making
Location: Ayr
Date of Birth: 10th December 2024
Kobi is Tiggy’s last remaining puppy – and he’s grown into quite the handsome boy! The biggest of his litter, Kobi is already larger than his mum and is expected to be large-medium to large in size once fully grown. When Kobi first arrived, he was the most timid of his siblings – shy, nervous, and unsure of the world. But with patience, love, and time, he’s blossomed into a happy, playful, and affectionate young lad. He’s still a little clumsy and full of energy, which only adds to his charm!
Kobi’s Highlights:
1. Friendly and sweet-natured 2. Crate trained and clean in the house 3. A cuddle monster once he knows you 4. Good with people – just needs gentle introductions 5. A bit barky with unfamiliar dogs, but not aggressive, just unsure 6. Hasn’t started lead training yet – but he’s smart and eager to learn
Kobi's Perfect Home:
1. An active family who can offer fun, structure, and regular exercise 2. A home with a secure garden for zoomies and outdoor time 3. Older children only due to his size and bouncy nature 4. Someone ready to guide him through basic training and socialisation Kobi isn’t destructive – just a lovable goof who wants to be included, cuddled, and gently shown the ropes. With the right family, he’ll grow into a loyal, loving companion for life.
Ready to give Kobi the forever home he deserves?

One of a litter of 7, Fae was separated from her mum early on, as our rescuers initially couldn’t catch Freya. (Mum is safe now too!) Despite a tough start, Fae has grown into a confident, affectionate, and curious young pup with so much potential. She’s very friendly and has a lovely nature. Meet Boobie – A Brave Little Soul Looking for Love
Location: Ayr
Estimated Age: Around 2 years old
Boobie came into our care after being handed in as a stray – but we strongly suspect she was abandoned by her previous owners. She wasn't microchipped, and after a vet visit (when we thought she might be pregnant), we discovered she was going through a phantom pregnancy following a recent season. We believe this may be why she was heartlessly given up. She shows signs of having been a working dog – with the classic bald patches on her ears and nose – but despite whatever past she’s had, Boobie has nothing but love to give. Boobie’s Personality & Progress: 1. Possibly a red Patterdale or Patterdale cross 2. Sweet-natured, affectionate, and a bit giddy 3. Loves a fuss and will happily clamber onto your lap 4. Doesn't love being picked up or heavily handled just yet – but is improving every day with gentle encouragement 5. Best suited to a calm, adult-only home that understands her sensitivities 6. Crate trained and working on housetraining (likely never lived indoors before) 7. Enjoys being outside and has no separation anxiety 8. Walks well on a lead (though sometimes a bit enthusiastic!) 9. Likely prey driven, so may need to remain on-lead long term Boobie is still waiting for her vaccinations and microchip as she found her first vet visit quite stressful – but don’t worry, this will all be completed before she goes to her forever home. What Boobie Needs: 1. A home without children 2. A patient, understanding adopter who can help her continue adjusting to home life 3. A secure garden for safe outdoor time (or lots of on-lead adventures) 4. Someone who’ll offer her consistency, kindness, and all the cuddles she adores Boobie is a special little girl with a lot of love to give. She just needs someone to believe in her and show her that she's safe, wanted, and home at last.

Meet Tiggy – A Little Dog with a Big Heart
Location: Ayr
Date of Birth: 5th October 2023
Tiggy’s story starts in the most heartbreaking of ways – but she hasn’t let that dim her sparkle. One dark night, our rescuer’s husband spotted her frantically running in circles on a remote track – clearly terrified and confused. Her tiny puppies were scattered across the road, darting around in panic. It took him an hour to gather them all to safety… but Tiggy, brave as she was, was too frightened to let anyone near. Thankfully, our rescuer returned and gently coaxed Tiggy to safety. Since then, she’s been living with the rescuer as her puppies grew and then travelled to our rescue in Ayr– and she has turned out to be an absolute delight. Tiggy in a nutshell: • Smaller side of medium • Super friendly and loves everyone she meets • Incredibly cuddly, gentle, and affectionate • Crate trained and clean in the house • Great with both men and women • Good with older children • Just starting her lead training – and doing brilliantly! • No bad habits – just a pure-hearted little soul looking for love Important to know: Tiggy is a bit of an escape artist – not to run away, but because she always wants to be close to her people. For this reason, she’ll need: A very secure home and garden (if there is one)
To be kept on a lead when outside
To never be left unattended outdoors
Or a home without a garden, where walks happen on-lead only She’s incredibly sweet, smart, and eager to please – and would thrive in many different kinds of homes where she’s included as part of the family

Meet Little Miss Poppet – A Tiny Pup with a Huge Heart!
DOB: 15.08.2024
Currently in foster in Ayr
Sweet, sassy, and full of sparkle – Little Miss Poppet is a pint-sized pup with a massive personality! About the size of a Jack Russell, Poppet is bursting with love, energy, and a heartwarming story that proves just how resilient and special she is. Found abandoned in a drainage ditch with a badly broken leg, this brave little girl fought her way back to health after surgery and has never looked back. She spent several months living at a veterinary clinic in Romania, which means she’s incredibly well-socialised — great with people, other dogs, and even cats! Poppet briefly had a home but returned to foster care through no fault of her own — her adopter's circumstances changed. She's now waiting patiently for the forever family she truly deserves. Why You’ll Fall in Love with Poppet: Affectionate & loving: She’s happiest curled up with her head in your lap, soaking up strokes and snuggles. Playful & fun: Full of cheeky charm and happy wiggles, she’ll keep you smiling with her silly antics. Bright & eager to learn: A clever girl who’s motivated by love and connection, she thrives on positive interaction and mental stimulation. Sociable: Gets along beautifully with other dogs and could happily live with a canine companion. Poppet’s Perfect Match: Poppet is looking for an active, loving home where she can continue to blossom. She’d love a garden for sniffing adventures, regular walks to burn off her energy, and a family who’s up for training, cuddles, and playtime. She’d thrive with another playful dog, but she’s just as happy being your one-and-only if she gets lots of attention. Health Info: Not yet spayed (to be done 3 months after her first season) Fully vaccinated & microchipped Has her own passport Negative UK Brucellosis (BC) test Ready to open your heart and home to Poppet?

Name: Rosie
D.O.B: 2014 (11 years)
Gender: Female (neutered)
Breed: Yorkshire terrier
Meet Rosie – The sweetest companion looking for a loving retirement home. Rosie is a gentle, affectionate soul who is now seeking her perfect retirement home. Sadly, Rosie was rehomed by her current owner following the sad passing of her mummy, but has once again found herself in need of a new family, as her current owner is unable to care for her due to her own declining health.
This marks the second time Rosie is looking for a fresh start, having already experienced the loss of her original owner, so it's our mission to ensure Rosie spends her golden years in a comfortable, loving environment filled with cuddles, care, and plenty of attention.
While Rosie does have a bit of arthritis in her back legs, she is receiving the right treatment, including Newmove Max and CBD oil, to keep her comfortable. She also had some skin allergies in the past, but they’ve cleared up with treatment and she’s currently medication-free.
Rosie has a heart full of love and would do best in a home where she can enjoy a slower pace of life. She is used to the company of older children, small dogs and even cats. However, she can be a bit bolshy with larger dogs, likely due to not getting out much with her previous owner. With a little patience and gentle training, we believe Rosie could adapt very well to new doggie friends. This sweet little lady loves the company of people, though she can be a little unsure in large crowds – after all, she’s quite small! She has a soft spot for her garden, where she loves to bury her bones, and is content lounging in her own bed during the day. At night, she loves snuggling up with her owner. Rosie may be small, but she has a big bark, and she’s always ready to alert you to any ‘intruders’ in her territory.
Rosie still enjoys a walk, though she doesn’t venture too far these days. She also loves being wheeled around in her doggy buggy, making sure she can keep up with the action without overdoing it!
We’d love to see Rosie in a home where she can potter around at her own pace, enjoying short walks or a ride in her buggy. A secure garden would be ideal so she can enjoy the outdoors safely between her strolls.
If you think you could offer Rosie the peaceful, loving home she deserves, please complete an adoption application on our website at www.savingandrehomingstrays.org.
(Please note a virtual home check and a £500 adoption donation are required to adopt this special little lady.)
Rosie is ready to bring love, joy, and a touch of sweetness to your life – could you be the one to give her the home she’s been waiting for?

Name: Cody
D.O.B: 10/09/2022
Gender: Male (neutered)
Size: Small
Breed: Mixed
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Meet Cody - The little fella with a big personality! Cody is mixed breed but looks like Jackahuahua (with a hint of Queen Ann table leg charm!). Cody is a wonderful little dog with a heart full of love and a lot of character.
Rescued from Romania as a puppy, he came to us with a traumatic injury to his tail, which required surgery. He was quite a shy little pup, but was adopted into a home fairly quickly. Unfortunately this was not the right environment for Cody and he never really settled, so a year on he is now back with us in rescue and looking for his forever home.
Cody is looking for a quiet and understanding home where he can truly thrive. He cannot be homed in a flat and ideally needs a rural (less urban) home with a garden.
Personality: Cody is a sweet and friendly dog once he’s settled in. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he’s an absolute bundle of fun! He’s great with other dogs, loves to run around and play, and is always up for an adventure. He’s also very curious and loves meeting new people while out on walks.
Cody had shown some reactivity around visitors in his adoptive home, but he’s never been aggressive—just a bit of barking when he’s unsure, but he does not display these behaviours in rescue and we think that he was perhaps picking up on his adopters anxiety in his last home.
What Cody Needs: Cody found living in an urban environment over stimulating, so he’s looking for a calm and quiet home, ideally in a peaceful area where he can relax. A child-free home with a secure, enclosed garden would be perfect for him to enjoy some outdoor time. While he’s not a fan of loud noises or crowded spaces, he thrives when he’s out on walks, especially in the countryside where he can run free and explore. He’s also a bit reactive to dogs on a lead, particularly big or unruly ones, but when he’s given space, he’s generally happy to play and interact with other dogs and has already made lots of doggy friends at the rescue.
Since being back in rescue Codys behaviour has changed a lot and he is now a happy wee chappy with everyone he meets, including with strangers, so we feel that much of his behaviour was due to his environment and that a quieter relaxed home will bring out all of his positive attributes.
Cody’s Likes and Dislikes: Cody loves to: • Zoom around and play chase with other dogs • Sniff and explore new places • Play tug-of-war with humans • Chew on soft toys and get the stuffing out • Enjoy treats, especially carrots • Run after sticks and balls (though he never quite got the hang of fetch!)
Cody dislikes • Being bathed or towel dried • The sound of neighbours in a flat or the buzzer going off • Public transport or vet visits Training &
Behavior: Cody has learned several commands, including Sit, Stay, Down, Watch, Come (his recall is good but could use reinforcement), and Leave It. He’s a visual learner, so hand gestures help him understand commands better. He is generally good on the lead and enjoys his walks, though he can be a bit stubborn at times. Cody has shown some resource guarding in the home, but has been easily trained out of this with positive reinforcement techniques. He should not be given bones or chew toys like yak chews, as he tends to guard them. Cody is happy around humans on walks, even strangers, and loves to sniff them, but he’ll always do things in his own way and at his own pace. He’s comfortable with being picked up and loves a cuddle.
Adoption Details: If you think you can offer Cody the quiet, loving home he needs, please complete an application form on our website at www.savingandrehomingstrays.org.
(Please note a virtual home check and a £500 adoption donation will be required to adopt this special boy.)
Cody is looking for a family who can give him the space and understanding he needs to feel safe and loved. Could that be you? If you think you’re the perfect match for Cody, we’d love to hear from you! ❤️

Meet Bruce – Your New Best Friend! 🐾 Say hello to Bruce, a big-hearted, lovable tripawd with the most endearing, dopey personality! Born on December 18th, 2016, Bruce is a gentle giant who's looking for a forever home where he can be the one and only star of the show. Bruce has been through quite the journey, originally joining SRS in February 2019. His amazing, kind nature meant that he was quickly adopted, but after 5 and a half happy years, he came back to us through no fault of his own. Bruce has always been an absolute joy to be around, but unfortunately, his previous families’ circumstances led to his return.
Bruce was adopted again by a wonderful family who have given him the life we always wanted for him but due to a very sad loss Bruce is once again looking for a place to call home. His family are devastated and will be working with us to find him the perfect place. He’s now hoping to find the perfect family who will love him unconditionally for the rest of his life.
Why Bruce is So Special:
❤️ Bruce is a larger breed dog who has an amputated front leg, but this doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest! He’s incredibly strong, loves to walk (though at a leisurely pace!), and enjoys nothing more than sniffing around and exploring the world around him. Water is his second love, and he gets around with no problems at all.
❤️ Bruce is a very social boy! He loves everyone he meets, whether it’s humans or other dogs. He’s been well-socialised by his previous family, who regularly had him walked by a group dog walker, so he’s a pro at meeting new furry friends.
❤️ Bruce is very easygoing in the house. He loves to sleep, eat, and shower his humans with affection. He’s not a fan of loud noises and might flinch if something drops, but he’s quick to settle and return to his relaxed self.
❤️ Bruce is strong on the lead but has a lovely, steady pace. He’s more of a “sniff-everything” kind of dog than a long-distance runner! He enjoys his walks, but shorter, slower walks (no more than 30 minutes) every second day are just perfect for him. He’s a true diva at times, especially if he doesn’t get his way—he’ll dramatically crash to the ground and refuse to get up. But trust us, it’s all part of his charm!
What Bruce Needs:
• A home without small children or cats, as he has had trouble adjusting to crying babies in the past. He has however been great with older children and loves a tummy scratch whilst out on walks.
• Bruce is great with other dogs both in and out of the home, however, for walking he is often better on his own as he likes to take his time and sniff a LOT. He could be homed with dogs but his family need to be aware they may need to do separate walks.
• A garden would be ideal for him to potter around, and one without steps (he needs space to navigate).
• A family that is happy to give him lots of affection and doesn’t mind a bit of diva behavior (he’s not afraid to demand attention with his funny “badooms!”).
• Bruce would do best in a home where he doesn’t have to walk with other dogs—he likes his walks at his own pace.
Bruce’s Stats:
• Weight: Approx. 29kg (he’s a big boy!)
• Vaccinated, neutered, and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.
• Loves getting in the car for adventures to parks and dog fields.
• He can do stairs just fine when given the space, and he has no trouble getting in and out of the car. • He eats complete dry food twice a day and loves his joint supplements.
Bruce is the ultimate companion who will bring so much joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life.
If you think you can give Bruce the home he deserves, please pop on to our website to complete an application form today:
www.savingandrehomingstrays.org
(Please note a virtual home check and adoption fee will apply.)
Thank you for considering giving Bruce the loving home he truly deserves! 💖
Bruce would be the happiest pup with a forever family that can spoil him with love, attention, and gentle walks. Is that you? 💕

Name: Bentley
D.O.B: 05/08/2023
Gender: Male
Breed: Mixed breed
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Meet Bentley - the gentle boy with a heart full of love! Bentley is a handsome and lovable large/medium boy who is looking for his forever home.
Bentley may be a big boy in size, but his heart is even bigger! Bentley’s journey has not been an easy one. Rescued as a puppy, he spent his early years in a Romanian vet clinic after being diagnosed with diabetes. Despite his condition, Bentley remained a sweet and affectionate pup, but sadly, no rescues offered to take him on due to the ongoing medical costs. That’s when we stepped in and brought him to the UK in June 2024, giving him the second chance he truly deserves.
Since arriving in the UK, Bentley has flourished! With regular vet visits and medication, his diabetes is now stable. He is such a trooper and takes his daily medications and regular blood tests in stride. Bentley is THE most patient, gentle, and loving dog you’ll ever meet, and his calm, positive nature makes him a joy to be around.
Bentley’s diabetes does require him to follow a strict diet to keep his glucose levels stable. His adoptive family will need to commit to maintaining this routine, but Bentley’s loving nature and wonderful personality make it all worthwhile. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and has also lived alongside cats in the vets, so he’d be happy in a multi-pet household. His favourite things include sunbathing, cuddling with his human friends, and being the centre of attention (he’s quite the charmer!).
Bentley has won the hearts of everyone who meets him, and it's impossible not to smile when you see his sweet face. Despite his remarkable qualities, Bentley has had little interest from potential adopters. We believe this is largely due to his ongoing medical condition even though he rarely needs to see a vet now that his condition is well under control. As a charity, we are committed to continuing Bentley’s insulin medication costs for as long as necessary, but what he truly needs now is a family who will appreciate his kind spirit and give him the love he deserves.
Please note that Bentley would thrive in an adult-only home where he can live safely with his strict diet and no temptation for food outside of his prescribed meals.
If you think you can offer Bentley the loving home he deserves, please pop on to our website and complete a pre-adoption application at https://www.savingandrehomingstrays.org/dog-application-form. (Please note a home check and adoption donation will apply).
We know Bentley has so much love to give, and with your help, he’ll find the perfect home where he can live the rest of his days surrounded by warmth, love, and cuddles. Thank you for considering giving this incredible boy the life he deserves!

Name: Ollie
D.O.B: 01/05/2020
Gender: Male (neutered)
Breed: Mixed
Size: Medium tall)
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Ollie came to us as rescue back up after seeing an appeal as he was passing between foster homes (5 different homes in 7 months) and he needed some stability.
Ollie is just the most amazing dog ever! He adores everyone from the second he meets them and is a big snuggle-bug. He just wants to share all his love and attention with everyone he meets. Ollie is known as the ‘Puppy Godfather’ as he is the first dog to greet and welcome new arrivals to the rescue to show them the ropes. He gets on well with new dogs/puppies of any age and is always ready to go make friends with them. Ollie is house, crate and lead trained and is so ready to have his own family to shower with love.
Ollie is the absolute best dog around other dogs when he is off the lead. He is quite submissive, so when he is on a lead he gets fearful and this has led to reactivity to other dogs whilst on-lead. Ollie has worked on this previously, with good progress, but would need a family who are willing to continue to work on this with him to help him get over his fear.
Ollie LOVES other dogs and would be over the moon to live in a house with another dog. Due to Ollie’s submissive nature, he would not fare well in a home with a dominant dog, but would love to live with a young and playful doggo (any size) who he could be best friends for live with! Ollie has not been cat tested and would be best in a child-free home.
As Ollie has been to-and-fro quite a lot over his short life we want to make sure this time is forever. We would therefore like him to have several meet-and-greets to make sure of this, and therefore potential adopters would ideally be placed within easy travelling distance of our rescue in Ayr, Scotland. We think he would fare better in a more rural location to help him flourish.
If you think you could be the family Ollie has been waiting patiently for, please complete a pre-adoption application form at the link below.
(Please note a homecheck and adoption donation of £500 applies).
Thank you xx

Name: Travis
D.O.B: 30/10/2017
Gender: Male
Breed: Mixed
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Travis is a mixed breed (we think with some GSD) from Romania born on the 30 Oct 2017 and came into rescue along with his 2 siblings and has not been rehomed with them yet due to his disability. He has been with us in the UK since May 2018 and now we would love to find a very special home for this very special boy.
Travis was born with issues in his hips and the many vets in Romania diagnosed many different things but it was only when he came into our care and seeing our vets (and having more X-Rays) that we confirmed a diagnosis.
Travis does not have any hip sockets – they never formed. So his hips do not stay in place and move about which he moves. He has never needed any pain relief and is a strong dog and copes very well and isn’t in any pain. Initially our vets said he should be PTS but after seeing him playing very happily, in no pain and with the strength that he has in his front end he agreed he has a great quality of life and deserves a chance to live it to the full. He loves running round the garden and playing so needs a nice big garden and lots of space. We do need his home to have an understanding vet who is willing to work with us if necessary for any decisions on his future treatment and this would be part of our adoption contract.
Fabulous with other dogs especially boy dogs. He loves to play out with the boys.
Travis can be a funny with new people and can be a bit barky. It doesn’t take him long to warm up and we think it’s a bit of territory guarding as he is fine when out and about.
Travis walks fine on a lead and travels well in the car and has been well behaved at the groomers.
Travis would be perfectly happy in a home where he never goes for a walk as long as he has a big garden to run around and people to give him love and attention. He is a very sweet soul.
If you this you can offer Travis the extra special home and family he needs we would really like to hear from you. Please pop onto our website at www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an application form. Please note a home check and adoption donation will apply x

Name: Zara
D.O.B: 27/06/2019
Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Zara is a pure bred GSD bread in Romania born on the 27 June 2019 and came into rescue due to her disability. She has been with us in the UK since November 2019 and now we would love to find a very special home for this very special girl.
Zara was born with issues in her hips and the many vets in Romania diagnosed many different things but it was only when she came into our care and seeing our vets (and having more Xrays) that we confirmed that she has the same issues as one of our other wonky dogs.
Zaras hip and ball joints did not form properly so do not stay in place so they move about which she moves. Even though Zara is quite long and tall she still copes well and isn’t in any pain. She loves running round the garden and playing so needs a nice big garden and lots of space. We do have some wheels that can fit her, however as she isn’t actually paralysed her back legs don’t bend and they point forward so don’t work well in a typical cart but there may be different options that can be explored. We do need her home to have an understanding vet who is willing to work with us if necessary for any decisions on her future treatment.
Zara adores loves everybody. She gets on great with most dogs especially little dogs and could potentially live with another small dog. She is not as happy with bigger dogs and can sometimes growl and snap but will never start a fight. She could also live with children and she is a lovely soul.
Zara does have a sensitive stomach which is a common problem in GSDs. She has had lots of tests and there is nothing wrong but it can be a problem keeping weight on her as she doesn’t process food properly. She is on a special diet and takes probiotics at the moment and we are also about to try her on a raw diet to see if this helps. As a result she is skinny. This is a balance for Zara as being lighter helps her get about and having too much weight on her may limit her mobility. Zara is booked in for a dental cleaning later this month as she does have a tendency to hoover up food and sometimes a bit of poop!
Zara is fine on a lead, travels great in the car and happy at the groomers.
Zara would be perfectly happy in a home where she never goes for a walk as long as she has a big garden to run around and people to give her love and attention. She will sit and ask for attention as she loves a cuddle.
If you this you can offer Zara the extra special home and family she needs we would really like to hear from you. Please pop onto our website at www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an application form. Please note a home check and adoption donation will apply x

Names: Tessa & Tosca
D.O.B: 20/06/2018
Gender: Female (neutered)
Breed: Mixed
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Please note that Tessa & Tosca must live in a child free, pet free and dog free home and would ideally be rehomed together.
Tessa and Tosca were in a shelter together for 3 years before coming under our care. During that time they were well cared for, but did not receive as much human attention as they perhaps needed. As a results they came to us as very timid pups and have both been adopted separately and come back to us as they were too timid apart to live in a home. We would therefore love to see these girls adopted together as they rely on each other for their confidence. At the rescue they enjoy playing, sleeping and cuddling. Tessa and Tosca have done a little lead training at the rescue, but we would need a family willing to put in the time and effort to gain their trust and work on their training slowly and with our support. We know it’s a big ask to find these two a home together, but we like to dream big for our dogs. If you have the time, patience and love for these girls please pop onto our website at www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an application form. Name: Mischu
D.O.B: 01/05/2012
Gender: Male (neutered)
Breed: Mixed
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Please note Mischu must live in a dog and pet free home.
Mischu came to us with his sister Iza after spending 8 years in a shelter with very little human socialisation. When they came to us they were very scared and shy dogs. He is very bonded with his sister, but isn’t keen on other dogs so if they are rehomed separately it needs to be into a pet and dog free home. When they arrived they were both very scared of everything, but over time have relaxed into life here and become firm favourites with our volunteers. Mischu is the most confident of the two, but his little sister Iza definitely wears the pants in their relationship. Mischu loves doing the zoomies, snoozing, food and a cuddle. He will need work on lead training so his family will need a secure home and garden to begin his training. If you can offer him love, comfort and patience we would really like to hear from you. Name: Iza
D.O.B: 01/05/2012
Gender: Female (neutered)
Breed: Mixed
Location: Ayr, Scotland
Please note, Iza must live in a dog and pet free home.
Before coming into our rescue Iza had spent her entire life living in a shelter. She had been rescued as a puppy (along with her brother) by a well-meaning rescuer, but 8 years later was still sitting in a pen having never known much social interaction. As a result she arrived with us as a very timid little thing. Over time her confidence has grown and she is now an absolute delight. She loves a good fuss and cuddle and despite being much smaller than her brother, she definitely is the boss out of the two. She is a friendly lady and is happy with new people pretty quickly after being introduced and she really loves to snuggle. She will need work on lead training so her family will need a secure home and garden to begin her training. If you can offer her love, comfort and patience we would really like to hear from you.
