Breed: Bear
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years
Key information: Shy boy at first, would be best as only pet in the house, can live with children 14 years and over.
Bear is a handsome boy who takes a little time to make friends, this is usually helped by offering him a biscuit or 2 and once he knows your safe he will be your best friend.
Bear enjoys going for walks and can meet other calm, well behaved dogs, however he has never lived with another dog before and does like all his human attention to himself.
Bear can be strong on his lead and still needs a little bit of training. He has a full thick coat that will need weekly maintenance in brushing and keeping it shiney.
Bear needs new owners who have had experience of owning large GSD’s before, someone who is happy to let Bear grow in confidence without making him feel overwhelmed. Like a lot of Shepherds, Bear will bark at people coming in the door and if he is worried by someone getting too close to him on his walks he may give a little woof but does settle down when reassured by his person.
Bear is very affectionate at home, he loves to cuddle, play with his favorite toys and practice his tricks as this means food is coming – and he is a massive foodie!
Bear is a big softie at heart and needs gentle owners who can understand his needs and go at his pace.
if you think you could offer Bear a home, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
